On-Premise AI Server for Business: Setup and Deployment

An on-premise AI server for business is dedicated hardware in your office or data center that runs large language models and AI agents locally, so prompts and documents stay inside your environment. JR Secure Design sizes the hardware to your use cases, installs and secures it, deploys the model, and connects only approved data sources.

25+ years in technology and security. No cost, no obligation.

What is an on-premise AI server?

It is a server or deskside workstation, built for accelerated computing, that runs AI models in an environment you control instead of sending data to public consumer AI tools. It is the hardware behind a private LLM for business, and it can be combined with selected cloud services in a hybrid setup.

What hardware do you deploy?

We design deployments on systems including:

  • NVIDIA DGX Spark: a compact system built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, designed for AI inference, generative AI and running large language models locally.
  • Dell Pro Precision with GB10: a compact AI workstation built on the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. Confirmed specs from Dell include 128 GB LPDDR5x memory and NVIDIA DGX OS 7.
  • ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3: a deskside AI workstation built on NVIDIA’s DGX Station GB300 architecture, designed for teams that need to run and fine-tune large AI models locally without a dedicated data center.

What hardware you need depends on users, model size and workload. We size hardware after reviewing your use cases, and we will tell you if a business-grade cloud tool is the better fit.

What is included in on-premise LLM deployment services?

  • Readiness and sizing: use cases, users, documents and performance goals. Many teams start with an AI readiness assessment.
  • Architecture design: on-premise or hybrid; hardware sizing; network, identity and logging design.
  • Install and configure: server or workstation install, model deployment, secure configuration and connections to approved data sources.
  • Access controls: sign-in, role-based access and audit logging in front of the model.
  • Managed updates and monitoring after go-live, if you want them.

Who is an on-premise AI server for?

Small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits and regulated teams, such as law firms, medical practices and accounting firms, that want AI on sensitive work while keeping data inside their own environment. Security controls are aligned to recognized frameworks; we do not claim certification on your behalf.

How does on-premise AI server setup work?

  1. Free 30-minute call about your goals and data.
  2. Assess and size the hardware and model for your workload.
  3. Design the architecture, network and access controls.
  4. Install and secure the hardware and model, then connect approved data sources.
  5. Train your team and scale from a single workstation or server to larger clusters as usage grows.

On-premise, private cloud or hybrid?

On-premise gives you the most control. Private cloud and hybrid approaches combine private inference with selected public services when that is appropriate. See private AI infrastructure for business and our private AI infrastructure services for the wider picture, and AI automation for small business for what to run on it. We bring 25+ years of technology and security experience to every deployment.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on users, model size and workload. We size hardware after reviewing your use cases, on systems such as NVIDIA DGX Spark, Dell Pro Precision with GB10 and ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3.

It depends on the hardware and scope, so we discuss options on a free 30-minute call rather than publishing prices.

Yes. We connect the model only to approved data sources, such as file shares and knowledge bases, with sign-in, role-based access and logging.

No. Deskside workstations and compact systems can run in an office. We help plan power, network and placement.

Yes. If a business-grade cloud tool fits your needs better, we will say so.
